At "PSC: Position Size Calculator" ("we", "us"), we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how information is handled when you use the "PSC: Position Size Calculator" application ("App") on mobile (Android, iOS) or web. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
Account information. If you choose to sign in (optional on mobile, required on web), we collect your email address, display name, and profile photo from your sign-in provider (Google, Apple, or email/password). This information is stored securely in our cloud database and used to identify your account for cross-device sync and subscription verification.
On-device data. The App stores your calculation history, preferences (theme, currency, language), templates, trade journal entries (outcome, P&L, emotions, setup tags, reflections), and subscription status locally on your device. On the web version, this data is stored in your browser's local storage.
Cloud sync data. If you are signed in, your settings, calculation history, templates, and trade journal data are synced to our cloud database to enable cross-device access. This data is stored under your authenticated account and is only accessible by you.
Analytics data. We use third-party analytics tools to collect anonymized usage data, such as which features are used, calculation counts, and general app engagement patterns. This data does not identify you personally. A randomly generated anonymous ID (UUID) is assigned on first launch for analytics correlation. Account balances are tracked as ranges, not exact values.
Crash reports. We use third-party crash reporting tools (mobile only) to collect anonymized crash and error reports to help us improve app stability.
Subscription data. Subscription status and purchase validation are processed by third-party subscription management services and the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not have access to your payment details. Subscriptions can only be purchased through the mobile app.
Advertising data. The mobile App may show non-personalized ads via third-party advertising services. These services may collect device identifiers and general usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not use tracking or personalized advertising. No ads are shown on the web version.
Exchange rates. The App fetches currency exchange rates from a third-party API to provide accurate multi-currency calculations. No personal data is sent with these requests.
Remote configuration. On mobile, the App uses third-party remote configuration services to determine feature settings. These services may log device-level metadata but do not collect personal information.
The App uses third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, subscription management, advertising, remote configuration, and currency exchange rates. These services may collect anonymized data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to any third parties.
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the App, please contact us.
Calculation history, templates, journal entries, and preferences are stored locally on your device (or in browser storage on web). If you sign in, this data is also stored in our cloud database under your authenticated account, protected by security rules that restrict access to your data only. Analytics and crash data are retained by our third-party service providers according to their respective data retention policies.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
